The RS-800 silage kneader processes whole maize stalks and other roughage into soft, silk-like fibers. Instead of simply chopping, the machine rubs and flattens the stalk between toothed rollers, breaking the hard outer nodes while keeping fiber length.
Kneaded forage is far more palatable: cattle eat stalks completely, including leaves and nodes that are normally refused, which measurably reduces feed waste. When packed into silage bags or pits, kneaded material compacts tighter and ferments faster.
It is the ideal first step of a silage line: knead → (optional) treat → bale or bag → ferment.
